Bold Expression Alone or on Another Medium

Award winning local artist, Carol Talley, will give us a pastel painting demonstration as you follow along with the pastels she is providing (shown above). The versatility of soft pastels will be explained; they can be used over watercolor and other mediums for enhanced effects. All materials will be provided for class use.

Space is limited to 12! Register by November 3. $45 donation includes all supplies and instruction. Your additional donation to enable future art workshops and support the upkeep of the Sanctuary grounds and facilities is gratefully received.

Carol Talley www.caroltalley.com is a member of a number of art associations, and a signature member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast. Collectors of her paintings include the Casa Barranca Retreat Center, Ojai, CA, The Tynan Group, Santa Barbara, CA, and actor John Cleese. Those who own her art mention the sense of peace and beauty her paintings bring to them. Carol’s paintings exhibit expressive energy and harmonious color.
