200 Hour Residential Yoga Teacher Training 

Offering an in-depth study of yoga for practitioners who are ready to dive deeper into the art, science and philosophy of yoga.

Meet the Instructors

Tommy and Lori have been studying and practicing yoga together for over 20 years. Tommy’s extensive study of functional anatomy is complemented by Lori’s knowledge of the energy pathways within the body. They have been sharing their love and knowledge of yoga as yoga instructors for 18 years and leading teacher trainings for 10 years. If you are willing to put in the work they will give you the tools you need to follow your passion.

VRAAJA SPECIALIST, YOGA MENTOR AND AUTHOR
Tommy’s Vraaja Yoga™ classes combine alignment, strength, and fluidity—a meditation in movement. His teaching methodology is to create micro-movements to facilitate macro-movements or peak poses and myofascial release. Lori Anderson
YOGA MENTOR & THAI YOGA THERAPIST
Lori’s style of yoga is a mindful fl ow from posture to posture at a moderate pace to explore the energy pathways within the body. Her teaching methodology is to cultivate an awareness of breath, balance, strength and release moving towards a practice of intensity without struggle.(vraajayoga.com)

Patricia Paulsen
SUNBURST SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR AND YOGA TEACHER
Patricia has been part of Sunburst and a practitioner of Kriya Yoga since 1975. In harmony with the Kriya Yoga practice, Patricia is a certifi ed teacher with Yoga Alliance and has studied various forms of hatha yoga for over 30 years. Patricia has been Sunburst’s spiritual director since 2006.

Location

Sunburst Sanctuary is a meditation and retreat center located on California’s Central Coast, 30 miles north of Santa Barbara. The retreat center is nestled among 4,000 acres of rolling hills, where you’ll be able to enjoy the peaceful, quiet atmosphere and immerse yourself in nature’s gifts.

On-site healing massage will be available, for additional fee.

PLEASE NOTE: Sunburst Sanctuary guidelines include NO pets, NO smoking/tobacco/alcohol/recreational drugs, and NO open flames (incense, candles, camp stoves, etc.). Thank you!
