Simple Steps To
Clarify Your Vision

One of the most difficult tasks for any painter is organizing and interpreting the enormous amount of information they want to communicate.
Holly’s process of simplification can be applied to any painting style, abstract or more realistic. She will focus on landscape but you are welcome to use any genre you like. Water-based mediums preferred.

“Paint-Around” Technique
Sunday, April 13
1:00pm – 3:30pm
This special watercolor painting technique creates depth and dimension as layers are built up around the white or lighter subject of the painting. Sometimes called “negative painting,” the results can be positively stunning. Carol Talley will lead us step-by-step in creating our own painting. Required materials will be available at the class, or bring your own (suggested list will be sent upon sign up).
